Telegraph Occupational Shaving Mugs

 

Shaving cream mugs from the late 19th and early 20th centuries were often painted in a manner that reflected the occupation of the owner. As such, there are many examples of telegraph themed shaving mugs that can be found. Some of these mugs were quite ornate in their painting designs.
